Creating Custom Circuits
• After running the Demo, custom circuits can be created by
selecting 'New' from 'File' menu, and then using the
'Chips' menu to select the type of TTL chip you wish to
experiment with.
• A block diagram for the chip can be seen by holding down
the option OR shift key, while selecting a chip from the
menu.
• Wires can be added to the breadboard, ONLY when the power
is OFF. Once placed, wires can be selected for deleting or
modifying by clicking on them. A selected wire is
surrounded by an animated marquee.
On color machines there is a Color menu which allows you
to change the color of selected wires, and to preselect the
color for wires before they are drawn.
• Wires can be modified by clicking and dragging on their ends.
• Chips can be relocated by clicking and dragging them to a new
location (within the confines of the breadboard).
